Kevin Mead

Kevin Mead is a natural leader and mentor, and has been coaching basketball for years. He's currently in his seventh year as the head basketball coach of the freshman boys at Catholic Central High School, and has also coached at Hoop City, the YMCA, Michigan Basketball Academy, The Courthouse, and other AAU programs. Kevin's passion for coaching extends beyond the court—he's also a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife of 15 years, Krista, and their three young children.

The Mead family is a sports-loving bunch. Their daughter Emma, age 12, plays basketball, soccer, and volleyball, while their oldest son Jacob, age 10, competes in basketball, football, and baseball. Their youngest, Conner, age 8, enjoys basketball, football, and lacrosse. With three active kids, Kevin and Krista know firsthand the importance of balancing athletics with family time.

When he's not coaching or spending time with his family, Kevin leads a product development launch and procurement team for Steelcase. His leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects make him an asset to our team, and we're thrilled to have him on board at Swish.
